“The Phoenix Dream Center is ground zero for PFA friends and families who are seeking an active role in the restoration, revitalization and social transformation of our city.”
Brian David Steele is executive director for The Phoenix Dream Center, located on Grand Avenue.Its many ministries include outreach to the homeless, those imprisoned, low income families, at-risk teens and youth, and survivors of human trafficking, through a combination offood, shelter, visitations and a life recovery school.
“Here at the Phoenix Dream Center we seek to make God famous in this city!” says Brian, who began as a volunteer with the ministry.“Our mission is to reach in and mine the incredible potential we believe lies within the lives of at-risk youth, the homeless and the needy families of our community. We do this by restoring hope and allowing them to dream again.
“Our vision is to be a resource to the community of broken and hurting people in Phoenix. We pride ourselves in helping those that no one else wants to help, and reaching those that no one else will reach. It is our Phoenix First motto and our vision to find a need and fill it, to find a hurt and heal it in our community.”
Brian sees the church as a power-filled and exciting community of believers who are impassioned to win the lost to Christ and to be faithful witnesses to the greater Phoenix area. He encourages everyone to schedule a visit to the Phoenix Dream Center, which take place on Tuesdays. He also encourages people to experience Wednesday Fusion services and to get involved in a small PFA group that will radically change theirlives and those of everyone they minister to.
Brian’s path to church service was diverse including BS in Management, Engineering studies through Pella Corporation’s, Central College Program. He has also completed 2-Year Certificate work in Middle Eastern Studies through MCC and ASU in Tempe, AZ as well as Masters-level courses through Kings Seminary, Van Nuys, California.
Brian is married to Skye-Cherie Steele. Collectively they have spent missionary time in Turkey, Northern Israel, Vietnam and Italy.
