“I believe that at PFA we have the most amazing students who love the Lord and are always looking for ways to grow and serve!”
Pastor Christina Ketchem oversees Threesixty’s Junior Varsity Ministry, which focuses on students in the 6-8th grades. The ministry’s purpose is to work hand-in-hand with parents and family members, helping each student grow into the person God has designed them to be. The programs she leads provide opportunities for worship, discipleship, community/relationship building and service.
Pastor Christina also oversees Threesixty’s Junior Varsity/Varsity Interns and Leadership Team. These are individuals who feel called to minister to students by volunteering their time to work with the Threesixty Team.
According to Pastor Christina, “I want students to know how to walk in a real, everyday relationship with Jesus Christ that is founded on the Word of God. Students should know what they believe and why they believe it. I want to see Junior Varsity students enter High School as strong Christians who will influence their school, friends, family and community.”
Pastor Christina says the people that make up PFA inspire her. “We are family! At such a large church, I love that people really know each other more than on a Sunday morning basis. Phoenix First is such an exciting place to serve because we are always doing something for the Kingdom.”
Pastor Christina’s ministry has taken her to El Salvador for mission trips. She earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry from Central Bible College and is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God.
