“Phoenix First Assembly is truly a place where miracles happen daily.”
“To be able to have intimacy with God is the most wonderful gift God has given us after salvation,” says Pastor Saeed Hosseini, Phoenix First’s Pastor of Prayer. “Imagine—we can approach our Heavenly Father anytime, anywhere about anything without reservation. He listens and answers!”
The focal point of the prayer ministry is the magnificent Prayer Pavilion of Light. Located at the Phoenix FIrst campus along the edge of the desert preserve, it is a quiet place of 24/7prayer for all nations and denominations. The glass-enclosed chapel transforms by night, when this “lantern on the hill” morphs into intense hues of color.“My long-term vision is to see Prayer Pavilions opening all around the world,” says Pastor Saeed.
“Prayer is our most important act of worship here at Phoenix First,” according to Pastor Saeed. “Each Tuesday at 7 pm, we pray and intercede for others. At 7:30pm it’s Cell Phone Prayer when we call and pray for people. At 8pm, personal prayer is available in our Prayer Circle.”
Sundays at 9am, Pastor Saeed conducts Intimacy with God, a faith-strengthening class to draw people closer to Jesus as Savior with teachings about the power of prayer and its fruit-producing holiness. Fusion Prayer Small Groups occur after the Wednesday evening services. Exclusively for women, there is Passion…Pass it on! It meets the first Monday of the month at 7 pm. Monthly prayer occurs the last Friday of every month.Global Prayer & Fasting 365 Network is an unbroken chain of prayer warriors committed to lifting up the prayer team.Another vital part of the Prayer Ministry isTeam UP! Against Cancer, a faith-based support group of survivors and their families. It has assembled a global intercessory prayer team of over 35,000 persons.
“PFA is truly at the forefront of a revolution to seek out and reach the unsaved, the unchurched and the disillusioned with church,” says Pastor Hosseini.
