The purpose of Adopt a Block is to build relationships and offer assistance to low income and homeless families living in poverty stricken neighborhoods.
Volunteers mobilize throughout the valley distributing food, clothing, and household necessities to low income and homeless families in addition to cleaning streets, gardening and neighborhood cleanup.
Adopt-a-Block meets: Every Saturday at 2:00 p.m., in the Children’s Pavilion. Volunteers under 17 must have parent or guardian supervision Dress Code: Tennis Shoes, Jeans, no bandanas or gang paraphernalia.
Buses will run for Saturday night service, bringing children 4th - 5th grades to the Saturday night service. And Wednesdays for 6th grade and up.
